Shipping policy
At Essence and Expressions, we understand that receiving your items quickly and privately is essential. Our shipping process is designed to ensure your order arrives safely, discreetly, and in a timely manner.
1. The Discretion Guarantee
Your privacy is our top priority.
• Plain Packaging: All orders are shipped in plain, unmarked boxes or mailers. There is no mention of "Essence and Expressions" or the contents of the package on the outside.
• Neutral Return Address: The return label will use a shortened or neutral business name (e.g., "E&E Shipping Dept") to ensure absolute discretion.
2. Processing Times
• Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
• You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been handed over to the carrier.
3. Shipping Rates & Estimates
We offer various shipping speeds to meet your needs. Costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
4. International Shipping
We ship to select international locations via Shopify Markets.
• Duties & Taxes: For most international orders, duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout (DDP). This means no surprise fees upon delivery.
• Customs: While we ensure discreet packaging, international packages must legally include a customs declaration. We use generic descriptions (e.g., "Personal Wellness Item" or "Boutique Accessory") where possible.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link via email. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update. If your package is marked as "Delivered" but you have not received it, please contact the carrier directly or reach out to our support team within 48 hours.
6. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address during checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping fees to resend the item.
